Billie Willmon Jenkin here... author/illustrator/ speaker, friend. My passion/ purpose is for people accept themselves unconditionally. That desire shows up in my writings. It seemed especially appropriate that I use my published writings to support Robin's battle against cancer right now. Thank you for joining me here in my endeavors!

![]() Robin B. & Rena | Robin Boozer, my friend for decades, began treatment for Stage IV carcinoma on February 5. She has had 6 rounds of chemotherapy as of this update. This page is designed to allow you to take part in supporting her ongoing battle by making donations to benefit Robin during this financially, emotionally, and physically tough time in her life. In thanks for your donation (as you can see scrolling below) I will send you your choice of published materials. Along with these materials, I'll happily personalize them for you or someone you love. Disclaimer: We are not a non-profit organization, but rather individuals showing love to another. |
I met Robin in the mid-'80s, when she
and my two sons, Rusty and Trent Willmon, attended Texas 4-H district
events together as young teens. In addition to being buddies with
Rusty, she was Trent's first duet partner. Their favorite duet was
"Meet Me in Montana." What great harmony!

Though Robin lives in Austin and Trent in Nashville (working as a recording artist/ song-writer), they still enjoy an occasional duet when he performs in Texas. Shown here are Robin Boozer and Trent Willmon during their most recent duet (performed in Fredericksburg, Texas in September 2009 at Hondo's).

![]() Robin, "Sam," & Billie (How 'bout ours for androgynous names?) | My "chaperoning" any 4-H event Robin attended was always SO much fun! I laughed so much that I forgot I was supposed to be the adult! The pranks we pulled on
someone often had to do with Robin's missing finger. Once, we pretended we'd found her missing digit. (I'm not sure it's true, but I hear the girl we tormented not only still won't eat Vienna sausages, but won't feed 'em to her kids, either!)
|
Robin still makes me laugh. I want her to be around a lo-o-n-n-n-g time to continue sharing laughs with all of us. Her treatment is taking its toll on Boozer. Please consider how you might alleviate part of her struggles AND use the "thank you" gifts from me as gifts for friends.
